CRB online checking service

EATA’s online disclosure service provides CRB and POVA First checks for organisations or individuals working with vulnerable adults or children.  To get started, click on the CRB checks button (right).

About our service
All organisations whose employees, representatives and consultants may come into contact with children or vulnerable adults are required to comply with the CRB Disclosure process. In addition, we offer a POVA First service whereby a preliminary check is carried out which allows workers in exceptional circumstances to begin working while waiting for a full disclosure.  The CRB checks its databases to ensure that applicants are not on the Protection of Vulnerable Adults list.

More effective
We are able to track checks online and see exactly which stage they have reached. Your liaison officer can then be updated with the progress of your applications.

Faster
EATA aims to provide a faster turnaround time as our system does not allow incorrect data to be processed. Where amendments are required, a dedicated member of staff will get in touch to guide you through the process.

Cheaper
We offer checks at competitive rates for both members and non-members, as we are running this service on a non-profit basis.

EATA's competitive fees

For EATA members: Standard CRB charges (currently £36.00 for an enhanced disclosure) plus £9.00 administration fee.
POVA First fee (including admin charges) £9.00.

For non-EATA members: Standard CRB charges (currently £36.00 for an enhanced disclosure) plus £12.00 administration fee.
POVA First fee (including admin charges) £9.00.
