Description: |
Ravenswood Road is a modern purpose built scheme with eight beds, including access for wheelchair users. The program is designed to work with both drug and alcohol users who wish to abstain from substance misuse. The programme uses Cognitive Behavioural techniques to underpin the therapeutic and life skills groups and keyworking. Additional on site support fortnightly from a Mental Health worker provides the team with all the necessary resources to successfully work with clients who hold a dual diagnosis. Clients also benefit from access to our Start Well scheme which provides in-house training and support to enable clients to gain access to employment. This is incorporated into clients personal development plans at the review stage. Retention for 12 weeks stood at 80% for 2007/2008. | |
