Facilities

Individuals in need of help with addiction recovery have the option of contacting individual rehab centres to inquire about services and cost. However, the advantage of working with an organisation like ours is that we give you access to all of the service providers in one place. Our focus is on private rehab clinics operating in Essex, but we do have working relationships with other clinics throughout England and the UK.  Multiple facilities provide interesting and diverse rehab options, so the people suffering from addictions and their close ones can choose based on many different criteria.

If you have a few minutes to spend on our site, you can learn all about the clinics we work with – clinics providing effective addiction recovery treatment. You’ll find all sorts of helpful information, including video tours, covering things like:

  • accommodations

  • food and nutrition

  • therapeutic facilities

  • gym and health facilities.

The one thing you should know right from the start is that not every private rehab clinic operates the same way. Each has their own residential facilities offering programmes and therapies that can be custom tailored to the unique needs of each client.

We invite you to take advantage of the information we offer here – especially our video tours. They offer an excellent opportunity for you to see what our facilities look like, the grounds surrounding the individual buildings and the general atmosphere those grounds provide. A video tour can be invaluable in making a decision about where to seek treatment.

Types of Treatment Based on Facilities

If you have questions after you have read the descriptions and taken the video tours, feel free to call us for more information. We would be more than happy to assist you in any way we can. In the meantime, there are a few things we would like you to know:

  • Residential Treatment – We typically recommend residential treatment if at all possible. We believe residential treatment through private clinics offer the recovering addict the best chances at long-term success. If residential treatment is impossible, we can help you find treatment through community-based organisations in the NHS.

  • Seclusion – One of the advantages of residential treatment is the secluded environment private clinics tend to provide. This seclusion frees recovering addicts from the distractions of daily life as well as any enabling factors that continue to encourage addictive behaviour. When you take the video tours from our clinics, you will notice many of them are located in rural or suburban settings.

  • Facilities – In the world of addiction recovery, there are facilities to meet just about every need and budget. Most of the clinics we work with in Essex and England are very affordable. However, there are some exclusive clinics designed for people with greater financial means. We will help you locate the clinic that is right for you.

  • Payment – Residential treatment at a private clinic is not free. However, there are a number of different ways to pay for it, including private health insurance and credit card accounts. When you contact us, we will answer all of your questions regarding treatment costs and payment options.

  • Medical Supervision – In order to make sure addiction recovery is both successful and safe, our clinics are all staffed by trained professionals able to provide medical supervision every step of the way. Throughout the duration of treatment, each client is constantly monitored in terms of physical health and recovery progress.

  • Food – Private clinics do provide regular meals as part of the services clients pay for. However, some clinics require clients to participate in food preparation, serving, and clean-up. This is done in order to foster a community spirit while also teaching clients some level of personal responsibility. Before entering a residential rehab clinic, be sure to let your counsellors know of any dietary restrictions you might have.

  • Discharge – Upon completion of a residential treatment programme, the recovering addict is positively discharged from the facility. However, that does not mean recovery is complete. Quite the contrary, recovery from drug and alcohol addiction is a lifelong process. Our clinics provide aftercare services in the weeks and months following residential rehab in order to facilitate long-term recovery and prevent relapse.

During a residential stay at a private clinic, clients are supervised at all times. The supervision is not intended to make clients feel like prisoners in an uncomfortable setting. Rather, it is designed to provide the structure that is so lacking in the lives of most recovering addicts. This structure is vital to successful recovery.

As part of that structure, clients are expected to fully participate in all of the therapy programmes included in their treatment plans. Although some of the treatments may be uncomfortable at times, they are offered in the best interests of the recovering addicts.

Commitment and Attitude

Before leaving you to take the video tours of our clinics, there is just one last thing we want to address: the commitment and attitude of the recovering addict. We are not exaggerating when we say that individual commitment and attitude are the single most important factors determining whether treatment will be successful or not.

A study released in 2012 shows that residential rehab at a private clinic can be very successful among those addicts who are completely committed to recovery. In fact, the best clinics boast success rates of 60% or better. However, those high success rates only apply to those clients who complete their treatment programmes and are positively discharged.

Among those who either drop out or are negatively discharged from treatment, the long-term success rate is barely 20%. To ensure long-term recovery the addict must be 100% committed the day he or she enters treatment. Furthermore, he or she must maintain the right attitude for the duration. That means remaining positive and upbeat while doing everything they are asked of by clinic staff.

We are here to help you or your loved one recover from substance or behavioural addictions. After you have had time to learn more about our clinics, we encourage you to call our free-phone helpline for further instructions. Just think, today could be the day the road to recovery begins.
