Reflections

Position for 2 Senior Therapists

Reflections Therapy Services is looking for 2 senior psychotherapists -

·         One therapist to be based in Edgware, London

·         One therapist to be based in Whitefield, Manchester

Part time, 12 – 20 hours a week, self-employed.

£38,000 - £42,000 per annum pro rata

(Thus at 20 hours a week, at £40k per annum, the salary would translate to £384 a week)

Reflections therapy services is looking for an experienced and skilled therapist who wishes to join a multi-discipline, holistic therapy practise.

In this position you will be responsible for the delivery of psychological assessment and treatment to clients in a wide range of presenting issues but focusing on addiction, depression and anxiety disorders.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years training as a psychologist, counsellor, psychotherapist or psycho/sexual relationship therapist with accreditation with BPS, BACP, UKCP, BASRT or equivalent. Must have reached at least Master degree level or above within their profession as a therapist. Skill level must be beyond competency with their therapeutic practice.

Essential qualities:

§ Clinical experience of no less than 5 years.

§ Familiarity with diagnostic systems.

§ Prepared to follow a training in Reflections therapy model.

§ Ability to integrate Reflections therapy model into their own approach.

§ Specialized clinical experience with addiction and trauma.

§ Ability to work with complex clients e.g. personality disorders.

§ Ability to work within a team structure.

§ An understanding of cultural differences.

§ Commitment to CPD.

§ Ability to work within a code of ethics and practice.

§ Computer skills

Desirable qualities:

·         Have other specialist training e.g. DBT, EMDR, SE, etc.

• CORE-OM experience
