'Models of residential rehabilitation for drug and alcohol misuers', published by the NTA, is a comprehensive guide to what to expect from residential rehab services

'Improving services for substance misuse - diversity, and inpatient and residential rehabiliation services', is a joint review of residential rehabilitation services carried out by the Healthcare Commission and the NTA in 2009. It lays out common issues in the access, delivery and commissioning of residential rehab services, many of which, sadly, are just as relevant today.

'Improving the quality and provision of Tier 4 interventions as part of client treatment journeys - a best practice guide' was published by the NTA in 2008 and is aimed at commissioners of residential services.
